Here's a little animation I threw together earlier this week. This clip shows but a small piece of what the finished product will portray. There's a bit of story that will follow, it involves a young acorn on the trip of a lifetime. Ultimately the story is about the transition from innocence to experience. One may look at this maybe, as the innocence. With more experience, I will be able to finish the story.
For you techies out there: I did the key framing in Adobe Illustrator then worked it all into motion with Adobe Flash. The play button simply a tidbit of ActionScript (3.0 mind you). First, I drew out these lovely key frames with the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator. I could have done this in Adobe Flash, but I prefer Illustrator's drawing style.

Then I put them in sequence within a movieclip in flash. I then dragged that movieclip onto the stage, slapped a tween on it with a clock-wise rotation. This gives the completely 3d revolving effect seen above.
